seriously, i haven't seen a team look so consistently unprepared, unfocused, and undisciplined for this long. say what you want about the flaws on this team that Dombrowski constructed, but you can't tell me that they were "worst 3 or 4 teams in the majors" flawed. I see no evidence that they even do baseball related activity in between games. It's like they play a game, suck ass, go back to the dugout to eat coneys and play xbox, and come back to suck some more. When it gets to the point where I know an opposing pitcher's tendencies better than the Tiger batters, the coaching staff is officially failing.

maybe i'm rushing to judgment, based on one bad game. But there have been lots of teams who have turned around a poor start by switching managers midseason. Jack McKeon isn't doing anything, when he jumped on the Marlins staff midseason of 03, he took them to the WS. Woudln't mind seeing him kick some ass in 08.

flame away, i don't really expect this post to be received well. don't really care. maybe all of the yelling at each other will be cathartic.
