#1 - 8th inning, Tigers up 6-3. Delmon Young grounds to third, where Morneau is running home. Why doesn't Carlos Guillen throw home? I hate this "sure out" crap everyone always spews out. I'd have to see it again, but it didn't look like Morneau was that far away from third. I recall two plays in the last two days where our defense threw home and -gulp- got the runner out. And when they did it today, it was 6-2! But you don't try it in a close game?

#2 - Bottom of the ninth, left fielder Clete Thomas on deck. Why not put Sheffield in? It's not like he's never played left. Was he not available? Game's tied, winning run at third and bases loaded. Maybe he had one of those "complete days off" but it's just a thought I had.

These two things kept me from yelling at Todd Jones, which everyone was so happy to do.
