Inge's tattoos

I moved out of state in May, so I have not been able to see that many Tigers games on TV this year. Of course, these last few games have been televised in my area, and I noticed that Brandon Inge has tattoos on his arms. How long has he had them, and what do they say? Are they recent things, or am I just that clueless?

Dumb question, if there is a tie breaking game on Tuesday, why is it in Minnesota?
