I don't mean to brag, but i was at Saturday evenings game...and it was absolutely amazing. I sat 3rd base side, sec 140, 25 rows back...

The crowd was just into the whole game, most of the crowd standing for the entire bottom half of the 9th inning, and then grandy popped on to left field to tie the game...the crowd went nuts, obivously!! it was soooo sweet.

that is about as close of feeling to a playoff game (from what i would assume a playoff game would feel like) ive ever felt.

this team has eveyone's attention...and i love it.

GO TIGERS!

on the walk back to greektown, i was talking with some cinny fans, they were telling us how much they like Detroit...and the come up a lot for all the stuff going on in Detroit...that made me happy...

I always tell people, Detroit isn't that bad, (yes, we have some very shitty parts)...but yes, i love Detroit, and I love the tigers!

Congrat's, Im completely jealous! Sounds like it was a lot of fun though! I'm still amused by the amount of people that see me sporting my Tig's shirts and tell me that they suck. I say,"Well I know who hasnt been keeping up with the latest!" I mean congrats on the Tig's for all the records and milestones that have came through on the past couple of months!! Right?

With everything sports-related that Detroits come back with in the past decade, Wings, Pistons and now the Tigers are doin great, I love the city and proud to tell everyone its my home! Theres a lot with it thats just as great, the city itself isnt half as bad as people make it out to be! :-D

ah lucky, i hope fridays game is just as good!
i hope now that theyre winning theres not a lot of fake fans like the ones that go to opening day who cant pronounce nook logans name or this girl that sat behind me that said "i think thats young" when granderson came to bat (which i still shake my head over)
i love the real fans, whether they devote their life to it like i do or not but the ones who dont jump on the band wagon as we start rollin.
kinda nervous, kinda worried, but REALLY thrilled that at how far we've come in a year. i couldnt be happier. whether we make it to post season or not, i know that its possible and that its a goal that CAN be reached!

Yess I just got in argument with friends of mine, that were talkin about the Pistons, and I said "Yeeah, I dont pay attention, Im a Tig's girl." They were like Noone watches the Tigers, and I said "Id rather watch them than jump on the Pistons and Red Wings bandwagon!" Now that the Tigers are doin something big we have all those people that only like teams if they're winning. Noone cared about the Pistons OR the Wings until they won something big. I like these fans that've been watching the Tigers whether their doing good or not! :-D

yes i know exactly what you mean. i always joke around with people and say "i loved the wings before it was cool" because ive been a fan since i was born and we use to walk up to the door to by tickets in the lower bowl

everyone makes fun of me cause i can probably only name 3 basketball players on the pistons but i can name the entire tigers roster complete with number and postion.
i like inge as a back up catcher, i owned a jason williams red wing jeresy 4 years ago when people would ask me "we have a williams on the team?" and i was a huge tim cheveldae fan who most people dont know who he is.
i hate fake fans. i hate band wagons.
however, id rather live through the fake fans if it means we're winning
hoping for a sweep of the royals!
