yes yes, that's exactly what i referring to...his time in a livejournal community. yeah, that's the ticket. (?)
normally, i would say that someone following me around, in a community is so annoying, but it's different with you.
i have to say though, your defending his honour is kinda cute.

I've been scouring YouTube for clips of the 2006 season, hoping in vain that this season isn't actually real.

It hasn't worked, of course, but I can still dream.

I'm glad the game got rained out Sunday, or I might have jumped over the rightfield bleachers and punched Magglio in the face, just to vent...

How did you survive 2003?

[identity profile] dodgers-pwn.livejournal.com 2008-05-17 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
oh c'mon. it's a lot easier to deal with losses when your team just isn't very talented.

[identity profile] twoseamfastball.livejournal.com 2008-05-17 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
See, I don't buy that. With a talented but underperforming team, at least you have hope for the future, and hope that every game you watch will be the one where they turn it around. It's frustrating as hell when they DON'T, but you still have that hope.

A team that sucks just sucks. We had no reason to hope that the 2003 Tigers would recover as quickly as they did. That was a hard, hard team to stick with and follow for 162 games. Lions-esque, almost (almost).
