Just thought I'd share. One was for "just because." One was for on field photo day.

1) This was the image (this was made back earlier in the season, obviously before Grilli was traded to the Rockies):


The t-shirt:

The problem with this was I hadn't yet found the above tutorial for stenciling. I was using one similar to it, but not as nice looking (the link above takes it an extra couple steps to make sure it comes out crisp). Also, I used acrylic screen print ink, instead of fabric, so it bled into the details as it dried. And it dried dark and crusty. Also, I was being a little ambitious, as this was very small, so it needed a very fine brush, which I did not have.


2) I wanted to advance my use of dual stencils/colors.

And an extra! Made for my b/f for our anniversary. He has a man crush on Billy Beane (everyone should).

I went back in with the glue to touch up some of the smaller letters.

Yeah once you get the hang of it, and can get them really precise, holy cow does it feel nice to see the outcome. It's fun. If you want any tip let me know. It's a good way to make custom sports tees :)

I made a Leyland Jersey with iron on letters, but I've never considered screen printing before.

This might be a fun thing to try for christmas gifts too actually. :)

Haha, Jim. We made signs too, to hold if we met any certain players. This was Jim's:

I can post all the signs later, plus some of the pics we took with them, but not a lot turned out (it's the last time I use film, I SWEAR! It never turnsout... grr).
